Video Content Media Production For Live Entertainment powered by Disguise D3 & Unreal Engine.
If you sail on a ship named Mardi Gras, you better be ready for some New Orleans flavor. On the Carnival cruise ship that launched in 2020, INFINITE had the privilege of creating the media for the Mardi Gras’ main night of entertainment, the New Orleans Celebration.
This was a three-hour affair including a parade, theater production and jazz music set in and around Center Stage. Center stage is an open theater 3-decks high with a capacity of over 600.
With our media designed in After Effects and powered by D3 Disguise to broadcast across 16 independently-moving LED screen blades, we took guests on a ride down Bourbon to the back corner of a Frenchman street jazz club and through a funeral procession mixed with street magic and tarot.
With all the sensuality in New Orleans, we aimed to make our content a visceral and sensual experience, too, with rich and vibrant colors, fun and surprising transitions and exquisite attention to detail.
Getting the details right was essential, for we wanted guests to feel truly transported through the sights and sounds of New Orleans to fully capture the spirit of a Mardi Gras sailing.
