New Year’s Eve 2023 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas was a night of luxury, glamor, and magic! Think Wizard of Oz’s Emerald City for adults: glittering, elegant, and of course, green. Our task as the design team was to create an intriguing atmosphere by adapting the Emerald City into 10 looks for the Palace’s large LED screens spread out across its ballroom.
Over the night the looks, hosted on Pixera media server, transitioned from dripping emerald drapes to steampunk glamor to a fairytale courtyard to a magical garden with a forever-field of poppies designed to delight and surprise guests as they ate, drank, and danced into the new year. 
These looks spread across the entire ballroom which held twelve 15-foot wall-sized screens and a stage screen as long as half a football field. The key to success was coordination. The looks had to not just be beautiful and captivating, they also had to work with the furniture and deco inside Caesar’s, a custom DJ set by Steve Aoiki, a troop of dancers and their Emerald costumes, and of course, the ball drop at midnight.
Active listening to our clients and to all team members was the way to pull off a successful night. We were so excited to work on this project and ring in the New Year with all the guests at Caesar’s Palace. Here’s to a magical and glamorous 2023!
